Dishes clinked being placed into the top shelf above the microwave. Sitting at the dinner table, my father happily munching away at his desert and a cup of tea sitting in front of me; we sat in silence.

“So Em, do you plan on going over to the Sanders place this evening?” my dad asked eating up the last piece of the pie sitting on his plate. I didn't really have any intension on going over their, what would be the point. It wasn't like Matt or even his younger sister Amy where home.

I kinda miss the old Amy.

I used to post like, every single night. I didn't miss one night unless I was off for the weekend. I'm slacking these days. Since June, I believe, I haven't been posting much of nothing. I'm going to try to type my ass off tonight and get some stuff out. I don't care what it is, but I'm going to try to get it out.

And about the group, I haven't forgotten about it, it's just I haven't really been getting on buzznet unless someone lets me know they posted something they want me to see.

First: The new cd is out.

THIS IS WAR.  Almost hard to believe the day has actually come.

Two years in the making, Flood, Lillywhite, 30mm lawsuits, global crises, a couple birthdays, a dog gone, lots of fun, a moment or two of panic, 10 million vocal takes, a new president, my same old car.  There were days we didn't know if it would actually be heard.

I'm on the plane to Chicago having played a frenzy of a show last night in Seattle with Muse, Phoenix, Metric, and Vampire weekend and I'm thinking about how lucky we are to be able to do all of this.
